Well hello everyone! I hope you enjoy the pictures, Ella has been having a blast at daycare as the weather has become more seasonable! See her friend Timmy- they are so adorable in their little hats! Ella is doing great- we can't believe she is going to be 6 months in a few weeks! We really want her to stop growing up- Jake has threatened to ground her! We had a milestone this week - well several- major and minor! First up the major milestone- Ella rolled over from back to belly! Of course we missed it! We were in the kitchen cooking for a second and turned around to find her on her belly!! Oh well she repeated several times there after. This milestone coincided with the appearance of the fake cough! It is hilarious- still worries Daddy, but Ella is such a ham and enjoys any ounce of attention she gets and this is one extra way of getting it! It is especially funny when I am on the phone- oh yes! She has also begun to really enjoy going out in public, I shouldn't really say start- she has always been very curious- but now she is eating up all the attention with coy little shy moves. We have a drama bug I am afraid! Right now we are enjoying a visit from Grammy Sweeney. It is so sweet to see them playing together or Mom reading to her. It melts my heart- I absolutely love it! I am sad that we will be bringing mom back to NY Mother's day weekend :( But hopefully she will be up again soon over the summer. I think she has been surprised at how fast Ella is growing! 

Everything else in our lives is going pretty well- we are now in full yard cleanup- we have way too many leaves!! But we now have our side garden cleaned out so the tulips are in full force and the hydrangea bushes are ready to bud this summer! It is so nice to see the green coming back! Hello All, 

Ella is doing great! She is about 4.5mo old now! it is crazy and she is growing and changing seemingly every day. Her newest things- a screechy laugh- it is pretty funny. She mixes it in with her "talking" Especially likes to use that noise for dad. She has also started really noticing food- so she will most likely be ready for solids in another month and half when we start at 6months. She is also getting grabby with our dinners! So soon we plan on starting eating dinner at the table (we are usually lazy couch eaters!) and putting her in the high chair to get used to it. Should be fun! Stay tuned. Not too much is up around here- just lots of fun each day. We are heading to NY for Easter weekend and to kidnap Grammy for an extended visit up to Maine. We can't wait to see Grammy's face when she sees this "big kid" we have now! Quite different form the 4-5week old we had at Christmas! We also hope to see Uncle Brian, Uncle Jim & Co as well as the Locke clan. If not all on this leg of the trip next time we come through to bring Grammy home. Well it is getting late for this old lady- Ella has been getting us up at about 6:30 lately so time for me to turn in. Enjoy the pics! Love, S, J& EJ xo

Daddy's First Post

This my first post and I don't have that much to say other than we have a great baby. We have been very blessed to have such a wonderful little baby in our lives. She keeps us as happy as two tired parents can be, and even then she's amazing us every second of the day. We love her very much. Here are some more wonderful pictures.

4 mo check up & Giggles

Hi Everyone, 

Ella had her 4 month check up yesterday. She was a trooper with 3 shots! She is weighing in at 15lbs 1 oz and 23inches long. So she is a growing. She is 'talking' a bit now- in the car seat, on her way to sleep. We were treated to a 5am talking session Sat morning. She talked to her self for about 20 minutes then went back to sleep. Cutie Patootie...

Hello All.. Well Ella is a 1 week from 4 months old! It is entirely too crazy how fast time has flown by. She is growing so fast! She is really really into her hands and just started playing around with her feet. She has figured out how to "bounce" in her exer-saucer.   She is also laughing- a little tickling does the trick! She has also made a new friend. Aunt Stephie made her a very cute sock monkey who is debuted here on line! Very cute- we have named her Clara- she gets her fair share of play time, Ella likes to suck on her arms. Hope everyone is well, we are well and wishing spring would come faster. We did enjoy the nice weather this weekend in the 50's then snowed the next day! Yuck! But we were able to stroll around the block with Grammy B, it was great! We are really looking forward to Grammy S coming soon!!!! Still unsure of the date, but it can't come fast enough!
