Been awhile...

Hello All! Well I have been slacking, well not really in life but in blogging yes! Ella is 1 month older this week- 8 months old already oh my!! Things are moving right along! We are great and have had the chance to visit with quite a few peeps lately. First we went to NY before the 4th to pick up grammy S. We had a great time visiting with Uncle Brian- I think he really enjoyed Ella as she is much more active now- she likes to roll around and bang stuff- good times. While home we also saw the Locke cousins- we had a blast with Ava, who unfortunately was having a bad teething day. Hopefully those molars have come in and she is well now. We had a good time catching up with Aunt Ann, Uncle Tom and Cousins Heather, Ava and Deirdre! The big news was Deirdre's engagement- congrats cousin! Once back in Maine we had a great 4th of July BBQ with friends and family. We also had a great time visiting with my childhood friend Emily and her husband Ken and their baby boy Theo, when they passed through during their vacation. Suffice to say there was way too much cuteness in one room! 

Although this has been a wet summer so far we have had a great time visiting with friends and family. I was able to take 2 weeks off during the end of june and beginning of july so I had a great time being a mommy full time. Now I am back to work, sigh :( But Grammy S is still visiting so we get to do a lot of shopping with Ella. I will miss her when she goes back the first weekend in August :( 

As for Ella she is growing like a weed- in  9mo clothes now and is doing a lot of rolling, spinning, reverse crawling. She gets up on her hands and knees but hasn't gone forward yet. But she sure is "busy" as my mom would say. It is nearly impossible to change her diaper now with out her doing a few flips in the middle. So changing tables aren't really working for us now. We have spied Ella's first teeth coming- well not really visibly since she won't let us see - her tongue is huge and gets in the way! But we feel those razor sharp teeth coming through on the bottom. So far so good- no real horrible teething yet, she was a little clingy last week but so far so good so we are keeping fingers crossed!

Bar Harbor visits us...

Hi Everyone. These pics are from our recent visit with our old friends Wes and Alicia who came down from Bar Harbor to visit. We had a great time catching up and are looking forward to a visit north in the fall. Ella had a great time at Portland Pie- she snagged a few grammies who fawned all over her- what more could a girl ask for? Good times had by all!

Our lovely Ella is doing great! Almost 7 months-- we can't believe how fast time is flying! No teeth yet, but we hope something is coming to explain the recent night wakings..we need some relief! Well at least mommy does! Daycare is going great- Ella and Timmy get a long so well. We are looking forward to the summer- things have still been a little cool here lately. But Ella has her summer wardrobe so we are ready to roll. Those little baby dresses are so cute and can't wait to bring them out. ....
